We're breaking the walls of our company,
and opening our accounts to public

Explicit Call to Companies:

By taking action for the world, every brand can take meaningful steps against global problems and make all its expenditures in this direction by putting a social benefit at the center of its existence. By breaking all their walls, they can open their accounts and figures in the dark to everyone. They can be open, transparent, and clear. Thus, they can publicly prove their fight against social problems. They can show that they have a more valuable purpose beyond profit and turnover. Now is the time to break our walls and take action for the world!

As We See It, Every Brand Can Become a Hero Fighting for the World.

How?

A New Order is Possible with the Power of Transparency.

Since the Second World War, the population has nearly tripled and this has brought many social problems along with it. Neither associations and foundations working on a volunteer basis nor UN agencies that are slaves to the bureaucracy can provide solutions to this series of increasing problems.

The list goes on and on with the global climate crisis, the pandemic, the danger of drouth, and the refugee problem that threatens all humanity in every aspect of life today.

On the other hand, while “profit-making enterprises” follow the footsteps of doubling the capital, the fight against social problems is pushed into the background at best. Well, what do we mean by the capital incurred by the institution, which does not dedicate its existence to a social benefit? People no longer see themselves as mere consumers, they question the philosophies and values of brands.

On the other hand, while "profit-oriented enterprises" work on doubling their capital, the fight against social problems is pushed into the background at best. Why would we care about the doubled capital of an organization that does not dedicate its existence to a social benefit? Let's keep in mind that people no longer see themselves as mere consumers, they also question the philosophies and values of the brands they are customers of.

In today's world, especially the youth believes that organizations must adopt these social problems wholeheartedly. The organizations that do not care about the social benefit no longer are an inspiration to us. The organizations allocating a symbolic amount of their profit for social responsibility projects to look nice to the public or freshening up their image is no one's expectation.

We, as the Open Account Pact movement, demand the organizations navigate their purpose of existence towards the social benefit on a full scale and transform their profit into investment for the sake of this benefit.

In this context, we do not support the company to make super luxury expenses, make high salary and bonus payments, distribute dividends, or make expenses that expand the comfort zone of company managers and bosses. Instead, our demand is that all revenues be distributed fairly to the company's employees, a spirit of unity is established within the company, all expenses are spent on the works stated in the manifesto, and all profits are used for the company's investments. The proof of this is that the company publishes the explanation and expense parts of the bank statements on its website. To be open and transparent. It is to prove our true purpose to the whole world with numbers that everyone can see. It is to be able to give an open and clear account when necessary.

In this context, we do not support; the super-luxurious expenditures, high payments of salaries and premiums, distribution of the share of profit, or the expenditures that expand the comfort zone of company managers and bosses, of the company. Instead, our demand is all revenues be distributed fairly to the employees of the company, a spirit of unity be created within the company, all expenditures are spent on the works stated in the manifesto, and all profits be used for the investment of the company. The way to prove this is that the company publishes the profit-and-loss statements (P&L) and the expense parts of the bank statements on its website. It is being open and transparent. It is being able to prove our real purpose to the whole world with figures that can be viewed by everybody.

We encourage especially the companies to unite in purpose and action with the Open Account Pact, and we say yes to fighting social problems effectively. And we fully believe that we are going to achieve this with the power of transparency.
